First of all, a happy new month to everyone. I know, we are smack bang in middle of april but it is never too late right?. Recently I have discovered that I have an apathy to watching the news. I find it difficult to sit down and watch CNN or BBC24 or any news channel for that matter. I noticed this after the haitian earthquake in January, I just hated listening to the news, because it seemed like all there was to report about was tragic.
Funny enough the only newsbulletin I can tolerate right now is the AIT International newshour(nigerian television network). Maybe because I want to still hold unto the little things that remind me of home. Those newscasters looking so chic in their ankara and gorgeous jewellery lol. I still check out BBC online and the times magazine website from time to time.
I write this because I just logged onto yahoo to check my mail and I came across this news article on the china earthquake and its rising death toll. What is happening?

Girl, you need to stay connected! The way i got into watching the news is that when I wake up, the first thing I do is turn on the tv to the newschannel so that as I get ready for the day, I can listen to the news.
One can get the news from virtually anywhere. We usually listen to the radio in the morning while SO gets ready for work, but on TV, rarely.
As for the shakes (and volcanos), the earth is giving some signs, still don't know what sha.
wonderful...................................................
I read the news... I prefer to read the stories that interest me and not what the newscasters think I need to hear!
@Lucidlilth
