I came across a video on the ybf blog I normally frequent about the lack of partners for successful black women in the U.S. I do not live in America so I do not know about the dynamics there, but it seems this is quite a big deal judging from the many videos and articles I found on the net concerning this particular issue. I´m curious to find if it affects african women living in the U.S as well. I embedded part one of the video, subsequent parts are on the youtube website.

I watched part of this show. And of course the reason very obvious. Most black men are not educated. Educated black women outnumber the men. Also, many are either in jail or dead. That's the truth.
