T.V and Terry Crews
For the past couple of weeks since I started an internship, my life has been more of a routine than I would like . Wake up at six, get to work at eight, get back home by eight and then in the process of watching a little t.v, doze off.
I recently got myself a t.v set after years of living without one. I think because I have lived without one for such a long time, I have not really had any lust to sit down and actually watch a show. I have no interest in most of the programmes running. The irony of it all is that I have over 1500 channels to choose from -from Nigeria´s AIT International to Britains´s CBS Reality to Germany´s Prosieben but I still find it hard to settle on a programme to watch from beginning to end.
That is until recently. I saw this reality show on BET about Terry Crews and his family. Now this one got my interest as I liked him in Everybody hates Chris as Chris Rock´s Dad, so I thought I would watch him to see him be Dad to his real life kids, but who I am kidding? Most of the so called reality shows are all scripted so you don´t what is real or not.
On the last episode that was aired, they found out that their first child was pregnant. The scene looked quite fake to me, it seemed that they knew about the pregnancy earlier on, but just wanted to put that in the show for some special drama effect. What made me skeptical, was the lapse way they took the news, maybe it is just me, but it seemed quite weird.
Nevertheless, I'll still watch the show , his kids are so cute.

Most of these reality shows are scripted and edited to the last frame. I usually don't watch the ones that follow families around, rather stick to talent shows and such..
@Myne Whitman
Yeah you have a point, at least with talent shows, it is mostly live so what you see is what you get in most cases.
