Blackness

I have just started reading this book by Matthew Ashimolowo called What is wrong with being black. I am at the third chapter and I already feel depressed. This book is an eye opener. Have you ever wondered why it is seems that blacks always seem to be found at the bottom of the totem pole or why africa the wealthiest continent has the poorest inhabitants on earth. The answers are in this thoroughly researched piece of work. I would recommend to everyone. Read this book.

I am feeling this song by Estelle and Kanye West, American boy.

Mathhew Ashimolowo is the main pastor at KICC right? I can imagine such a book and that it might be depressing. Hmmm.

I like American boy by Estelle. Funny enough it was sung today on the American Idol by the top 24 tonight.

yes he is...the book is thoroughly done and as you read it you cannot help but see the correlation with what is happening today in various black communities.

I had a look and the book isn't available in the local library! I'll just have to look elsewhere!

Estelle was in my city last summer and she was a funny, really chill person and performer, and I definitely like this duet!

Another book to put on my to-read list.

This is why i refuse to wear diamonds. My BF was talking engagement rings casually and I was like if you get me a ring, get white sapphire from canada. I want no diamonds. I dont know why a continent that produces 60-82 percent of the worlds diamonds is also the poorest. Shio.

De Beers can suck it.

Now this is an idea for a blog post.
