Surely platonic relationships between men and women are almost an impossibility.....if not why are they so darn hard.

Innnteresting. What was the reality that hit you: that you have mroe than platonic feelings for this man, or does he have those feelings for you?
Anyway, I know only one girl who seems to have a truly platonic relationship where neither of them have ever wanted to be more than friends. Otherwise, I am skeptical that they are possible.
I think it can happen o, but there will DEF be some kind of chemistry or feelings one way or the other at some point.
Either in the beginning of d friendship..or in the end..lol
Hmmm.. I'd say its possible but only if boundaries are set early on and both parties are aware of them..... Somehow tho, its almost as if one party or the other will eventually start thinking there could be more.....Guess the reasoning sometimes is that they are friends cos they enjoy each other's company -- a lot, spo why settle for some other person who doesn't quite get them on the same level?

They are truly hard indeed but if you set boundaries from day 1, hopefully it should make things easier.
LOL, all the platonic friendships that I am aware of eventually developed into deeper things, sometimes marriage sef. Teeheehee

Girl I hear you.. I'd figure platonic relationships that lead eventually to marriage would be longlasting as you have gotten to know the person in and out of the box. This one(my case) is a sticky situation as dude is married, um Yeah.. so you see my wahala lol
